Bainbridge Athletic Club’s new tennis building is scheduled for completion in January.

The 14,000 square foot steel building will house two of the club’s five indoor tennis courts.

With the new building, the club grows to more than 50,000 square feet.

“Despite the current economic climate, we are investing in the future in ways that will best serve the Bainbridge community with a full-service athletic club,” owner Ted Eisenhardt said. “To maximize what we can offer our members and for the best neighborhood aesthetics, a permanent building addition was the way to go.”

A grand opening event is scheduled from 6-8:30 p.m. Jan. 29.
