Bainbridge Majors pull out last-second rally

With the season on the line and zero room for error, the Bainbridge Majors softball team found its stroke, defeating Chinook 9-4.
Catie Muir started the run with a two-out single. With two runners on base Julie Feikes put the ball in play, plating the two runners. Feikes brought a clutch performance to the defensive side of the ball as well, pitching a scoreless bottom half of the sixth inning to force extra innings.
In the extra frames Bainbridge exploded with seven runs. Hannah Lipka started the outburst with a two-run single. All in all, Bainbridge had 12 at bats in the inning.
Feikes pitched the bottom of the seventh as well, allowing two runs and finishing off the game.
Bainbridge takes on Battle Ground Sunday at 11 a.m.
