Playoff Updates: BHS boys sixth in state golf tourney


Spartans finish sixth in state

The Bainbridge boys golf team finished sixth in the 3A state championships.

Mt Si won with 113 points, Camas had 79.5, Timberline 68.5, Seattle Prep 66, Enumclaw 65 and Bainbridge 58.

Individually, Kyle Hurt led the Spartans with 149 (74-75), eight strokes behind the winner and in a six-way tie for ninth. Carl Jonson shot a 154 (76-78) for 24th, while Bobby Griffin finished with 156 (78-78) for a four-way tie for 28th.

Daniel Snoey of Camas was medalist with 141 (72-69).
