Playoff Updates: Boys lacrosse out; golfers on a roll

BOYS LACROSSE

The Bainbridge boys lacrosse team lost 5-4 to Issaquah in overtime Wednesday, ending their season. Bainbridge capped its season at 14-4.

GOLF

Six of seven Spartan golfers advanced to the second day in their

respective state tournament. Kyle Hurt shot 74 to tie for fourth in

the boys tournament, two strokes behind the leader. Carl Jonson was

two strokes back in a tie for thirteenth, and Bobby Griffin's 78 put

him in a tie for 23rd. Kyle Leonard shot 85 and didn't make the cut.

Anna Bourland and Ryan Nottingham both carded 83s to tie for 19th in

the girls' tournament, while Peyton Lunzer was one stroke back in a

tie for 25th.
