Season ends for Bainbridge basketball teams

Both Bainbridge basketball teams suffered season-ending losses to Cleveland High School Tuesday night at Paski Gymnasium, in the first round of the District 2 tournament.

The boys lost 61-51, while the girls were defeated 51-46. Brittany Gray closed out her Spartan career with 23 points, and Penny Gienger ended her Spartan coaching career with 301 victories.

The boys, who were 12-4 at one point in the season, finished with a 14-10 record, while the girls' mark was 17-6.
