The Bainbridge girls team placed third in the 3A state gymnastics championships at the Tacoma Dome Friday.

Just eight-tenths of a point separated the top three teams as Columbia River won with 169.15 points, Auburn Mountainview was second with 168.475 and Bainbridge had 168.35.

The Spartans began the rotation on vault and finished with the floor exercise.
