BAINBRIDGE ISLAND - Carrying on a great tradition of Spartan lacrosse players receiving All-Conference, All-State and All-American honors, several of this year’s seniors played especially hard and earned their place amongst the best players in the State.

The five team seniors led the Spartans into an exciting round of Division 1 playoff games, including a comeback win in overtime at home against the fourth place Skyline Spartans to advance to a tough quarterfinal game and a disappointing one-point loss to Tahoma.

The honors bestowed upon the class of 2014 recognized Reynolds Yarbrough (2014 All-Metro Conference Team, 2013 WHSBLA First Team Division 1 All-State Team, 2013 Team Washington, 2012 WHSBLA Division 1 All-State Honorable Mention), Reed Dolese (2014 First Team All-Metro Conference Team, 2013 WHSBLA Second Team Division 1 All-State Team, 2013 Team Washington) and Jackson Larkin (2013 Team Washington).

Several underclassmen also received awards, including junior Ben LaRoche (2014 First Team All-Metro Conference Team), sophomore Jack Frickleton (2014 Second Team All-Metro Conference Team) and freshman Lucas Pedersen (2014 All-Metro Conference Honorable Mention).
