SEATTLE - The Bainbridge High varsity tennis representatives competing in the first day of Sea-King District 2 matches gave a strong showing overall Tuesday, May 20 at Lower Woodland Park in Seattle.

The boys doubles team of BHS senior Keet Curtis (18-1) and junior Ben DeVries (15-2) won their quarterfinal match beating KingCo number three Mercer Island  6-3, 6-1.

The win qualifies them for their third straight trip to the 3A state tournament. The duo made it to the state semifinals last year and finished sixth overall.
