Island grappler places second in tournament

Henry Moreshead, 7, a first-grader at Captain Charles Wilkes Elementary School, took second place in the 60-pound weight class at the Eric White League Wrestling Tournament Saturday, March 1 at Bremerton High School.

Among the other schools attending were Kingston, Gig Harbor, Bremerton, South Kitsap and North Kitsap High.

Moreshead is coached by  Dan Pippinger and Britton Johnson of Bainbridge High School, and Bobby Reese of Kingston Wrestling Academy.
