SEATTLE - The Bainbridge High boys swim team made quite a splash during their recent trip to the Southwest Athletic Complex in West Seattle.

A 133-24 splash, to be precise.

The team claimed a massive victory over West Seattle, placing first — and sometimes second and third as well — in nearly every event.

Bainbridge placed first in the 200-yard medley relay, the 200-yard freestyle, the 200-yard individual medley, the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard butterfly, the 100-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 100-yard backstroke, the 100-yard breaststroke and the 400-yard freestyle relay.

In fact, the only event the Spartans didn’t take first place in was the 500-yard freestyle.

BHS will host their last home meet of the season against Bishop Blanchet at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31 at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center.
