SEATTLE - The Bainbridge High girls varsity basketball team won on the road against Chief Sealth 53-43 Friday, Dec. 13.

BHS took the lead early in the game and didn’t let up. Chief Sealth managed a slight advantage in the third quarter, but their efforts were not enough to surmount the already established Spartans.

The top Bainbridge points earners were Rosie Brown (22 points), Taylor Tye (eight), Keira Havill (seven) and Nancy Karreman (six).

This latest victory left the varsity girls 1-0 in conference play.
