Spartans move to 3-0 with win over Chief Sealth

Bainbridge Island closed out the week with another win in girls golf.

The Spartans outshot Chief Sealth 81-9 in girls varsity golf Friday on the friendly greens of the Jefferson Park Golf Club in Seattle.

The Metro League victory put at Bainbridge at 3-0.

DD Madigan and Julie Ischer were top scorers for the Spartans with 23 points each.

Claire Lunzer chipped in 21 for BHS, and Mary Boynton added 14.

The Spartans return home for their next match on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Wing Point Golf Course. Bainbridge plays the Bishop Blanchet Braves, with tee time at 3 p.m.
