Nearly two dozen local middle school lacrosse players played hard — and had fun — this summer in the Bainbridge Island Girls Lacrosse Summer League.

The eight-week, out-of season league offered players a great opportunity to fine-tune their skills and scrimmage local Kitsap area teams.

Summer League coaches included former Bainbridge All-Conference varsity players Grace Deery-Schmitt (’12), Sarah Shea (’09) and Kelsey Mackin (’12).
