Emily Carson led Bainbridge against the Thunderbirds with six goals, five steals, one assist and five exclusions drawn.
Celia Chaussable also figured big in the win, with two goals, one assist and three exclusions drawn.
Amanda Sellman finished with three steals and one assist for Bainbridge, while Julia Griffiths had six saves, Kayla Estes added five saves, and Kay Sterner and Evelyn Newman added one steal each.
In earlier action, the Bainbridge Spartans stopped the Bellevue Wolverines 17-4 in girls water polo at home during the two team’s first matchup this season.
Carson led all scorers with nine goals for Bainbridge, and had two exclusions drawn.
Chaussable added three goals and one assist.
Madeline Arends added one goal and one steal.
Griffiths finished with one goal, one assist, one steal and three saves.
Sellman scored two goals, grabbed five steals and added one assist.
Estes contributed one steal and six saves.
Newport nipped Bainbridge 13-6 in girls varsity water polo just before spring break.
