Spartans clobber Crusaders in soccer

April 14, 2013 · Updated 10:55 AM

Bainbridge picked up its fourth boys soccer win of the season with a 7-0 drubbing of Eastside Catholic Tuesday at Bainbridge Stadium.

It was a welcome return of the Spartans’ winning ways.

The team started the season 3-0, but fell to the strong Chief Sealth crew 2-0 March 29.

The Spartans cruised to the win against the Crusaders, however.

Tanner Salmon finished with a hat trick for Bainbridge.

Four other Spartans also scored for the Spartans: Jesse Moore (Sebastian Scales assist), Peter Fawley (Alex Coplan), William Economy and Michael Crowley (Keats Hoonan).

Bainbridge is scheduled to next face Lakeside on the road late this week in Seattle. Lakeside currently sits atop the Mountain Division with a 4-0 record (8-0 overall).
