Cougars jump to early lead against JV Spartans

The Cougars made themselves at home with a 9-2 win against the Spartans on Bainbridge's home field in boys junior varsity baseball.

South Kitsap jumped to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, then piled on another four runs in the fourth.

Bainbridge mustered only four hits in the contest, and the Spartans' only offense came in the final inning.

Duncan McCombs, Garret Riely and Brice Kozlosky all finished 1-for-2. Max Thomas was 1-for-1.

McCombs, Trent Loughnane, Trent Schulte and Kozlosky all took turns on the mound for Bainbridge. Loughnane and Schulte each finished with two strikeouts.
