(Counter-clockwise from top) Bainbridge catcher Brittany Wisner and Central Kitsap outfielder Naomi Stocks look for the call after Stocks slid into home during the fifth annual Benik Corp. Softball Showcase last Thursday at the Kitsap Fairgrounds. Stocks was called out on the play; Haylee Baker slaps a shot during the second game of the doubleheader; she finished 1-3 with a two RBI double. Thompson slides safely between the legs of Klahowya’s Meika Bumbalough at the fifth. Baker, along with Wisner, Thompson and Chelsie Kakela suited up for the South All-Stars. Wisner caught two innings in both games while Baker threw the last two innings of the first game. Kakela also drove in a run in the second game as the South tied the North 3-3 in the first game, then won the second game 7-3.
