Sign-ups start for roller hockey

Registration has started for the new season for the Bainbridge Island Roller Hockey League.

Sign-ups continue online at www.bihockey.org through Friday, March 8.

The league will host a gear swap, open house and information night from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 at in the library at Sonoji Sakai Intermediate School. The annual general meeting will be held after the gear swap from 8 to 8:15 p.m.

At the open house, new and returning players can get information on the upcoming season, which will include a "Battle for the Point" week-long clinic and mini-tournament, summer camps, fewer Sunday games, an optional Memorial Weekend tournament in Portland, and Friday night adult pick-up games (through the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District).
