Island gymnastics club hosts only home meet this weekend

The island’s top athletes will hit the mats — and the air — this weekend at the Bainbridge Island Gymnastics Club Home Meet 2013.

The event will be the only home meet of the season for gymnastics, featuring boys and girls from levels 4-10.

Gymnasts from across the Northwest will travel to Bainbridge Island to compete against the boys team from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.

The girls will face their competition from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20.

Tickets are $7 per person, or $20 for a family. Both days’ meets will be held at Woodward Middle School at 9125 Sportsman Club Road.
