Blanchet squeaks by Spartan JV girls

The Blanchet Braves bested Bainbridge 39-36 in girls junior varsity basketball Wednesday in Seattle.

Kayla Buchmeier scored nine points for the Spartans in the Metro League battle.

Paulina Bredy sank seven for BHS, while teammates Rosie Brown and Sydney Gibbs added five points each, while Abby Leigh contributed four.

The Bainbridge hoopsters return to their home gym on Friday, Jan. 11 for another Metro contest against Seattle Prep.
