The Fighting Irish emerged on top in a close scrap against the Spartans in Metro League wrestling late last week in Seattle.

Both teams failed to field competitors and started the match with a double forfeit in the 106-pound weight class.
The Irish then claimed the victory, with Korry Broderick (113-pound class) taking a forfeit win.
Bainbridge’s Jonathan Gallivan (120) got the Spartans off to a solid start with a pin of Corbin Benson in 4:41.

In the 132-pound class, Jack Miller of Bainbridge pinned Kallum Broderick in 5:19.
