Kingston narrowly defeats Bainbridge in competitive wrestling match

The Kingston Buccaneers edged the Bainbridge Spartans 36-34 in wrestling Saturday in Kingston.
Five Spartans won with pins.
Bainbridge's Jonathan Gallivan (120-pound class) pinned Ivy Rodolf of Kingston in 5:30.
Christian VanWagner (132) pinned Peyton Reese of Kingston in 5:30.
Jack Miller (138) pinned George Wedig of the Buccaneers in 1:30.
Max Wysong (220) pinned Kingston's Julian Leigh in 1:15.
Mike Grant (285) of Bainbridge also won with a pin against Mic Kane in 1:15.
Five Buccaneers also won with pins.
Kingston's Johnny McClain (126) pinned Cheney Weaver of Bainbridge in 1:00. Gary Gormanson (152) won against Bainbridge's Aaron Jumpa in 1:00. Bobby Reese (160) beat Alex Hoover in 3:55. Josh Henden (182) overcame Sam Wysong in 1:30. And Aaron Dickson (195) won against Tyler Moniz in 1:15.
In other matches, Kingston's Thomas Dowd won by a Bainbridge forfeit in the 145-pound class.
Bainbridge's Bryce MacDonald (171) won with a major decision over Josh Illes of Kingston, 9-0.
Both teams double forfeited in the 103-pound and 113-pound classes.
