Bainbridge contains Cougars in Metro League volleyball

The Spartans defeated the Cougars 3-1 in girls volleyball in Seattle Wednesday.

Bainbridge beat Holy Names Academy 25-19, 17-25, 25-19, 25-9.

Lauren Sheehan had 12 kills and 14 digs for Bainbridge, while Emma Burgess added 25 digs.

Maggie Haskin contributed 36 assists and 12 digs for the Spartans, while Erin Kinney added seven kills, 10 digs and four blocks, and Hannah Wagner finished with 11 kills and two aces.

Bainbridge begins next week on the road with a Metro League matchup against Eastside Catholic in Sammamish on Monday, Oct. 15.

The Spartans come home Wednesday, Oct. 17 to battle Lakeside.
