Kerstetter unstoppable in 6-0 win against Lakeside

Senior Night for the Bainbridge girls soccer team turned into the Rosie Kerstetter Show after the Spartan forward scored four goals in a 6-0 drubbing of Lakeside.

The Spartans played their last home game of the regular season Thursday and Kerstetter — one of eight seniors on the team — was spectacular.

She nailed the net the first time for Bainbridge in the 28th minute on a pass from Holly Furner.

Furner then scored the next goal (35th minute) on a feed from Claire Marcum.

Kerstetter then collected a hat trick, with one goal before the half (38th minute) on a pass from fellow offensive dynamo  Natalie Vukic, and two more in the second half.

In the 45th minute, Kerstetter scored with an assist from Celia Story to put Bainbridge ahead, 5-0. Kerstetter then collected her fourth goal in the 69th minute via a pass from Kristen Bond.

Bond set up the game's final goal, a Vukic score in the 78th minute.

Bainbridge will wrap up the regular season next week with Metro League games against Seattle Prep on Tuesday, Oct. 16 and Eastside Catholic on Thursday, Oct. 18.
