Warkentin leads Bainbridge in win against Eastside Catholic in boys golf

The Spartans cruised past the Crusaders in boys golf Tuesday, winning 136-94 against Eastside Catholic at the par-35 Wing Point Golf Course.

Bainbridge High had the top five scores in the matchup.

Sam Warkentin led the Spartans with 34.

Carter Kraus contributed 38, while teammate Ryan Zuzelski finished with 39.

Casey McKay had 40 and John Lunzer had 41 in the winning effort for Bainbridge.

The team returns to Wing Point Golf Course today for a match against Bishop Blanchet. Varsity play starts at 3 p.m.
