Bellevue hands Spartans 20-11 defeat in boys water polo

The Bainbridge High School boys water polo team lost to Bellevue in a 20-11 shootout Monday.

The Spartans were led by team captain Riley Deering, who finished with four goals; captain Noah Clark, who added three; and captain Nick Williams, who scored two.

Conner Vacca and Jacob Nowjack also scored a goal each in the game.

George French paced Bellevue with eight goals, and seven other Wolverines also scored in the contest.
