Spartans upend Rams in girls golf

Bainbridge outlasted Ingraham High in girls golf at Jefferson Park Golf Club on Monday.

The Spartans finished with 84 points, while the Rams had 32.

Bainbridge was led by DD Madigan with 27 points. Fellow Spartans Julie Ischer added 22 points and Claire Lunzer had 19. Mary Boyton contributed 16 in her first match as a varsity golfer.

It was also the first varsity action for Sara Dalessi (13 points) and Grace Nelson (eight points).

Sara Rhee led Ingraham with 32 points.

The Spartans next face Lakeside for a Sept. 18 match at Wing Point Golf Course. Match time is 3 p.m.
