Spartans upend Nathan Hale in girls golf

The Bainbridge High girls golf team opened play Tuesday at Wing Point Point Golf and Country Club against Nathan Hale.

The Spartans finished with 76 points, while the Raiders finished with 17.

Bainbridge High sophomore DD Madigan was medalist, with 22 points.

Nathan Hale will get a rematch next week, and will again return to Wing Point to face the Spartans on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Next up for Bainbridge, however, is an away match at West Seattle Golf Club against Cleveland, Franklin and Chief Sealth on Monday, Sept. 10.
