Mackin to play in title game at Champion Girls’ All-American Showcase

Kelsey Mackin of Bainbridge Island will get a chance to play for another championship today.
Mackin was invited to play in the Champion Girls’ All-American Showcase, a US Lacrosse event and part of the ESPNHS Games in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., along with other top girls lacrosse players from high schools across the country.
The tournament started July 25, and Mackin is playing for team Liberty.
Liberty will play Freedom in the final today.
The two teams met earlier during pool play, and Freedom won 20-8. Mackin scored one of Liberty's eight goals in the loss.
Liberty rebounded to beat Spirit 20-17 to advance to the title game.
The girls' final will be streamed live on ESPN3 at www.espn3.com at 10 a.m. [PDT] Tuesday, July 24.
