Bainbridge beats Chief Sealth in boys soccer

The Spartans boys soccer team upended Chief Sealth, 6-2, on Friday, led by two goals from Bainbridge's Devereaux Kesler.

The Seahawks scored first, with a goal by Simon Crean in the 17th minute, but Chief Sealth quickly came to the aid of Bainbridge with an own goal at the 23rd minute mark.

Kesler nailed his first goal at the 41st minute, followed four minutes later with a score by teammate Peter Fawley.

Will Economy added another score for the Spartans a minute later for a 4-1 lead.

Abel Madrigal closed the gap for the Seahawks with a goal at the 52nd minute, but Bainbridge pushed its advantage to 5-2 with a score by Jason Dick before Kesler wrapped up the BHS offense with his second gal at the 76th minute mark.
