Spartans swamp Lake Sammamish

The Spartans girls lacrosse team kept up their winning streak alive as they won their fourth straight by defeating Lake Sammamish 17-9 Tuesday.

Olivia Smith netted five goals and an assist for the Spartans. Theo Fehsenfeld and Kelsey Mackin with four goals apiece for BHS. Madeline Stevenson had 18 saves in goal.

The victory gave Bainbridge Island its fourth of the season and a one-game advantage over Curtis atop the Peninsula Conference.
