The Wednesday game Bainbridge Island boys baseball game against Chief Sealth was cancelled, but the baseball team is still cruising after a 7-5 win over Nathan Hale on Friday to improve their record to 4-1.

Currently the Spartans are in third place behind the unbeaten Eastside Catholic and Seattle Prep.

The Spartans will stay on this side of the Sound and will travel to face South Kitsap on Friday in a non-league game. Then the Spartans will play back-to-back games against Lakeside on Monday and Tuesday, with Tuesday at home.
