BHS girls play at Cleveland Tuesday in Sea-King action; boys' season ends

The Bainbridge High girls basketball team plays against fifth-ranked Cleveland on Tuesday, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Eagles' home gym.

The Spartans (13-9 overall) advanced in the Sea-King 3A District tournament last Saturday with a 38-35 win over Lake Washington in Paski Gymnasium.

Bainbridge lost 67-49 at home against Cleveland (18-4) on Jan. 14. If the Spartans lose, they'll be eliminated from district play.

Bainbridge High's boys team's season ended Saturday with a 76-56 loss to No. 1-ranked Rainier Beach. It was the Vikings' third win over the Spartans (11-13) during the last two weeks. Chris Bell led BHS with 15 points, while Rico Failla added 11.
