Bainbridge High advanced into this week's first-round of the state Class 3A football playoffs with a 44-7 win on Saturday over Ingraham at Seattle Memorial Stadium.

With the cross-over win against its fellow Metro League opponent, the Spartans (5-4) will play sixth-ranked Camas (8-1) at 7 p.m. Friday on the Papermakers' Doc Harris Field in the Vancouver area.

If the Spartans win, they will play the winner of the Lincoln-Kennedy game on Nov. 11 or 12.

Camas defeated Kelso 55-0 last Friday to go undefeated in Greater St. Helens League play.

The Spartans dominated Ingraham (4-5) of North Seattle with a strong running game, rushing for 274 yards.
