Buetow is qualified to be a KPUD commissioner | Letters | July 30
I helped Arlene Buetow place her campaign stakes at various intersections here on the Island. I have known her since 1993, when I bought four water hook-ups from the water company, North Bainbridge Water Company, which she managed for 11 years.
I have kept in touch with her over the years, and the progress she is now making in her campaign for Kitsap Public Utility District commissioner.
Arlene is one of the very best, most experienced of people when it comes to understanding management of water utilities.
She understands that water resource planning is critical in the long-term sustainability of the community, and its far reaching consequences throughout the region.
She is a “roll up your sleeves” person, not afraid to tell it how it is, devoted to her mission, honest in her statement, with a personal unfaltering dedication for public office, an asset in today’s political free for all and staging!
She is an island resident who has contributed extensively in her capacity with the KPUD, and currently on the Utility Advisory Committee.
I would urge your readers to look hard at this candidate, support her in her tireless efforts, and elect the only person capable of getting this job done for the community, and region as a whole.
