Letters to the Editor

Latest Fourth celebration another big success | Letters | July 9

The Chamber of Commerce wants to thank all who participated in and/or attended the Grand Old Fourth of July activities last weekend. It was a fabulous show, with 95 parade entries, 79 classic cars, 115 Street Fair exhibitors, a festive beer and wine garden, great music, amusements and family fun.

It could not have happened without the hard work and support of 110 community volunteers who helped us plan and stage the Grand Old Fourth, then cleaned up and recycled/composted everyone’s mess.

A special thanks to Grand Old Fourth’s premier sponsor, Cook Family Funeral Home. Thanks also to all of our other major sponsors.

If you have photos of weekend activities you would like to share, we will post them on our website and perhaps use them for future Grand Old Fourth promotions. Send to: info@bainbridgechamber.com
