Recently we did an event for PAWS of Bainbridge/North Kitsap. We gathered some prizes and gave raffle tickets to people who kindly dropped off donations of dog or cat food to our office on Sportsman Club Road. We are happy to say that the event was a success with over 1,000 pounds of food for PAWS donated.

PAWS has been able to divide up the food and deliver it to local food banks, and even keep some for the Cat Sanctuary here on the island.

We would like to give a shout out to the generosity of the following people for the prizes they donated to this great cause:

Bainbridge Self Storage corporate management team; Kevin Roach, area field manager (U-Haul) for a $75 certificate; Theros Home Inspections for a $100 Safeway gift card; Churchmouse Yarns & Teas for a tea basket; Bon Bon Confectioner for a $50 gift card; and Bainbridge Home Furnishings for a $40 gift card.

Key to this event were all of the people who kindly brought in donations. Your generosity helps PAWS help those in need.

Janice M. Danielson,

Todd Rosenberger
