Letters to the Editor

Fewer citizens now benefit from toil | Letters | Jan. 22

We have had enough of pay-to-play politics. Everyone is on notice, both parties, all representatives and senators statewide and nationwide – everyone who does the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce over the will of his or her constituents.

The influence of the COC is beyond the ability of citizens to overcome, unless the very Congress that accepts its donations start an investigation with transparency.

We have the highest productivity of any nation, but every day, fewer and fewer Americans benefit from our productivity. It’s time that hardworking people get heard over the billions poured into politicians’ coffers by the COC.
