For the fifth year in a row, we are holding a food drive to support Project Wishbone in my four math classes at Sakai.

Sixth graders on the MOP/HOP team have collected amazing amounts of food the past few years – 1,700 items in 2008 and about 3,000 this year. We are hoping to have another great year.

We will be loading up vehicles at school on Nov. 13 at about 2:30 p.m., to take the food down to Helpline at 3:15 p.m. that same day.

It is an amazing effort by the students.
