Money saved by cutting out the middlemen | Letters | Nov. 6

I have first-hand experience with single-payer health care in Canada and Finland. I want it here, now.
In both countries, the feeling was that a lot of money is saved by eliminating the middlemen, the insurers, who contribute nothing to health care themselves but profit from it. And that is how I feel.
