This November I am voting for Dee DuMont for council. Dee is an intelligent, clear thinking, fair person who is capable of helping the city to work through the current financial mess we find ourselves in. She will work to prioritize the many competing needs of the community.

I strongly urge readers to visit her Web site at www.DeeDuMontFor-CityCouncil.com.

It clearly sets out her positions on such issues as the budget crisis, the role of government and land use among others. What attracts me about the site is that it provides specifics not just generalities. This should lead to accountability for our elected officials.

If you believe in a less expansive role for government, with fiscal restraint, and careful prioritizing where our limited funds go, then vote for Dee DuMont. Your voice will be heard.
