During the VOTE Council-Manager ‘09 campaign, the campaign committee learned a lot about how other cities made the transition to council-manager.
We shared this information with members of the council and the city administrator last week. A notebook, “Background Material for Bainbridge Island Council-Manager Government Transition... May 2009” was given to each one.
For our fellow citizens who may be interested in transition process and issues, we have deposited a copy of the notebook at the Bainbridge Island Library.
With this final act, the campaign committee has disbanded. Thanks to all the campaign workers and voters who have given our city the opportunity to embrace positive change.
Dennis Vogt
Spokesperson, VOTE Council-Manager ‘09
