Children benefit from Bargain Boutique | Letters | April 10

The Bargain Boutique is one of six Seattle Children’s Thrift Stores located in Washington. The stores are an important part of the mission of Seattle Children’s Hospital. Our stores provide visibility and a presence in the community by offering the public another way to help children through their purchases, donations and through volunteering.

The Bargain Boutique on Bainbridge Island has supported Seattle Children’s Hospital since 1968 and we do our best to meet the ever-increasing challenges of raising money so that every child can receive quality care regardless of his or her family’s ability to pay. We can only accomplish this objective by having quality new and gently-used merchandise to sell.

We are appealing to our generous community to bring in their donations of clothing, furniture, household items, collectibles, antiques and books. A donation receipt will be given as we are a nonprofit organization under 501(c)(3). We hope to be here for many years to come, reflecting the shared values of our Bainbridge Island community.
