Boy Scout Troop 1564 would like to thank all our Bainbridge Island neighbors who made this year’s Christmas tree pickup and recycling fund raiser on Jan. 3 a huge success with over 460 trees collected.

We especially want to thank these supporters: Penny’s Team Real Estate and Fairbank Construction for letting us use their trucks; Town and Country and Safeway for supporting our advertising; the friendly folks at Bainbridge Disposal for assisting our efforts at the Vincent Road Transfer Station; and Waag Tree Services for recycling many of our collected trees.

Of course, we could not have been successful without the continued strong support of our charter organization – American Legion Post 172. If we missed your tree this year,we apologize and we’ll try harder next time. See you again next year!
