Our Island Angel was there to help | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

November 19, 2012 · Updated 9:47 AM

To the editor:

On the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 30 my wife and I were returning home from England on the 7:20 p.m. ferry. Our bags were very heavy and we were very tired. The ramp up from the ferry was a challenge since I use a cane and have a heart problem.

A wonderful lady offered to pull my big bag to the terminal. I told her I had prayed that someone would help us, and she replied, “Your prayers have been answered.”

At the terminal I thanked and hugged her, but forgot to ask her name. We hope she will read this and know how much her good deed was appreciated. She is indeed an Island Angel!

Thank you for your help.
