We promise no phone calls at dinnertime | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:
Driving around town I’m sure many of you have seen our “Clickathon” signs, asking you to donate to the Bainbridge Schools Foundation. Your household may have received a mailer asking you to support the Clickathon. Perhaps you’ve received an email, or seen as Facebook post asking you to support the Clickathon. But do you know what Clickathon is?
For many years, BSF and its predecessors held an annual Phone-a-thon. Teachers, administrators and community volunteers would gather every night for a week and attempt to contact each household in the district to ask them to donate. Three years ago, we decided to end these intrusive and time-consuming phone calls, and instead launched our Clickathon campaign.
Clickathon runs from Oct. 15-Oct. 31. If you have not supported the Bainbridge Schools Foundation yet this year, please go to our website www.bainbridgeschholsfoundation.org and make a donation (or mail a check to BSF, 8489 Madison Ave NE).
The Bainbridge Schools Foundation has pledged to donate $1,000,000 to Bainbridge schools this year, but can only make our goal with your participation.
Please CLICK FOR KIDS. And we promise not to call you during dinner.

President
