Museum gives shout out to volunteers | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

For their generous help with the three Billy Collins events last weekend, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art would like to “shout out” its sincerest thanks to the 43 youth volunteers, razor-sharp organizers, and talented corps of people who helped spread the word; as well as organizations Eagle Harbor Book Store, IslandWood, Bainbridge Performing Arts, Bainbridge High School, Vignette Creative and KUOW Radio.

More than 800 people turned out to see the celebrated poet, and he was in top form, eliciting laughter and sighs with his stories and poems. These successes would never have been possible without support from our entire community.
