The Bard finds a good home at Battle Point Park | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

August 28, 2012 · Updated 8:07 AM

To the editor:

Kudos to the Bainbridge Island Metro Parks & Rec District for sponsoring “The Taming of the Shrew” at Battle Point Park.

The Greenstage crew was very professional and seemed to have a great, delightful time with the performance. The audience was having a wonderful time enjoying the play, the weather, the fellow patrons and the venue. The grassy amphitheater on a warm summer night was a song waiting to happen. The Rotary Club’s trailer/stage donation was put into good use.

Let’s see this event become a regular on the park schedule. Thanks to all the coordinators, actors and enjoyers!
