To the editor:

We want to extend a sincere thank you to all the men and women from the fire department and police department, who responded to the 241 Winslow Way fire Monday morning.

Your efforts insured the safety of the nearby properties and we are sure saved lives.

We wish we knew every one of you by name so we could personally tell you how proud we are of you and how much we appreciate your service to us and the entire island.

Our personal thank you goes out to each and every one of you.

We, also, want to thank our friends and Island citizens who have expressed their concern for us after the recent fire.

With our sincere gratitude,

STEVE AND GAYLE SEYL

Bainbridge Island
