Thanks for taking our survey | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

A big thanks to the community for participating in the Islanders for Collaborative Policing survey.

We didn’t expect much of a response, so we’re really pleased with what we’ve gotten: Nearly 500 people have weighed in with their opinions about our police department. This kind of participation confirms our suspicion that islanders have strong opinions about their police, and want to share their opinions. That’s good: The success or failure of the Bainbridge Island Police Department, moving forward, will depend on communication and collaboration.
